We have used Herbert Richter's “Bike Phone Secure Mount” in between to ensure that phone is held securely. Backing bike mount uses Herbert Richter's innovative 4QF system.

What is Phone Secure? Phone Secure Mount uses high quality high tension band that goes over the phone and clips over onto other side of the Universal mount. This ensures that mobile phone is held securely. Simply insert your device into universal holder, tighten and lock your device into the holder, and secure the device into place using the high tension band that clips over opposite side.
